What is A+ content?
A+ content is the rich, visual section below a product's basic details: images, feature highlights, and comparisons that answer shoppers' questions and build confidence to buy. Aplo brings that format to Shopify product pages.
Which themes does Aplo work with?
Aplo works with Online Store 2.0 themes, including Dawn, because it adds content through theme app blocks. Older (vintage) themes don't support app blocks. If you can add sections to your product page in the theme editor, you're on a 2.0 theme. If your theme isn't compatible, Aplo will tell you inside the app.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You build content in a visual editor with a live preview, and Aplo's theme app extension displays it on your storefront without any theme code edits.
How does billing work?
Aplo has a free plan and a Pro plan: a 30-day free trial, then $29 USD per month, billed through Shopify. You approve the subscription in Shopify, charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice, and you can cancel anytime.
Does Aplo access my customers' data?
No. Aplo only reads products and your published theme to build and render content. It never requests access to your customers' personal data.
What happens if I uninstall?
Your store's Aplo data is scheduled for deletion on uninstall, and anything remaining is permanently deleted when Shopify sends its shop redaction request 48 hours later.
